I am a husband, father of two amazing kids, health and wellness proponent, sports enthusiast, youth sports coach, and small business owner. El Jefe Sports launched from a friend's recommendation to share my morning smoothie recipe, and then grew into a website and social media channel dedicated to a healthy lifestyle. My wife had the inspiration for the name, as El Jefe has often been my nickname, and one we use for our annual El Jefe 5K Fun Run raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. My family and friends continue to help with new content ideas based upon an active lifestyle.
